Garmin Connect 3.2.16.0 won't sync with 310XT

I have a 310xt which I have successfully synced in the recent past - however I cannot get it to connect to garmin express now.

Yesterday it did the same so I deleted the device from garmin express and re-paired it, and it synced fine.

Now today it is back not syncing (update - I have unpaired and repaired it again, and it works again... but for how long...)

I've been through the troubleshooting guides, and the watch is set to pair and sync, but nothing.

Any ideas?

    Sounds like you may have some left over files from ANT Agent causing the sync problems. Delete the device from Express then clean up the left over ANT Agent data. Pair the device with Express again and your uploads should resume.

    1. Delete the contents of the C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devic es\
    1. Press the Windows Key + R key together
    2. Type this exactly, %Appdata%
    3. Click OK
    4. Open the Garmin folder
    5. Open the Devices folder
    6. Delete the numbered folder (unit id of the fitness device)


    2. Delete the contents of the LegacyProxy folder located in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\LegacyProxy folder
    1. Press the Windows Key + R key together
    2. Type this exactly, %Programdata%
    3. Click OK
    4. Open the Garmin folder
    5. Open the LegacyProxy folder
    6. Delete the numbered folder (unit id of the fitness device)


    3. Restart the computer

    4. Pair the device and creating a couple of short 1 min test activities.

    Hi. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm afraid i'm still having the same problem though.

    Any other thoughts?

    I am experiencing the same problem I have been trying now for a lot longer than it took me to do my activity. Mine says "nothing to sync" even thought there is. For £250.00 it is not as good as a bit of paper and a pencil, which I will probably have to resort to :(
  • Really? You paid £250 for Connect? I hope not as it's supplied by Garmin for free :)

    If you have completed the instructions from 2 posts up then I recommend you use the Transfer All menu on the 310XT. Menu->History->Transfer All. If the data still does not Sync with your Connect Modern account a Master Reset will need to be performed. See the FAQ: How do I master reset my Forerunner 310XT?

    After the master reset remove/add the device to Express again. If you continue to have troubles I recommend you contact Product Support.
