Unable the open garmin express

I have Vista and I installed Garmin Express 3.2.16, but the application does not work! Error message "Unable the open garmin Express." How can I fix it? Thank you.
I hava a Nuvi 2597 lmt

Grazie Mike, il problema è che io sono italiano e ho bisogno di spiegazioni nella mia lingua.. non posso seguire i comandi senza capire cosa sto facendo.. saresti così cortese da spiegarmi in italiano cosa fare? Grazie

Network Service, and when I enter the password gate tells me invalid account name or password does not exist

Ok Mike, resolved, was not "service network" but "servizi di rete". Thank you!
