Garmin Express v3.2.16.0 won't Install on XP SP3 with .NET 4.03

today I was forced to start using GE and I am totally stuck as it won;t install on my WinXp Laptop.

After I download the installer and I click Run nothing happens. No error messages.

I upgraded the Windows installer via the link provided in another thread however it did not resolve the issue.

Servoice pack and .NEt versions are as required.

Tried running as admin or from different locations. Tried downloading the installer again. Disabled Avira antivirus and closed anti-spyware software Nothing.

Every time I click on Run, just nothing happens. No errors are displayed.

Please assist asap as I am unable to upload any workouts to my Garmin 800! :| Very irritating.

If you've tried downloading the installer and that doesn't work, try running it directly from the Express website

do you mind explaining how please? I cannot find an option to run GE from the website without download and installation. Thanks

Rather than clicking 'Save' then running the downloaded .exe file simply click on 'Run'.
