Loader loading issue

My nevi map update failed somewhere in the lengthy process. Now OSX Garmin Express fails to recognize that the Nuvi exists,
Also lost all of my device registration when I updated to the latest express.
Unit display shows only "loader loading" along with the PROUD Garmin name. Unit is now totally worthless from a simple update of maps. Any thoughts?

If 'loader loading' is displaying this is a software update that has failed somehow since software is updated prior to updating the map. Which nuvi model do you have?
