Garmin Express and FR70 Pairing

I have the same issue with an FR70. I contacted Garmin support and their reply was that the FR70 isn't compatible with GE and the problem will be resolved with further updates to GE.

I am now running GE 3.2.13.0 and the issue has not been resolved.
  • I am also having the same problem with my FR 70. Last communication I had from Garmin Tech Support was that the Garmin Express was not compatible with the FR70.

    Has this been resolved as I still cannot pair my FR70 with GE?
  • AFAIK the FR70 is indeed compatible.

    I tried those steps previously and no joy. I still keep getting the message about the device not being recognised by GE.

    Has there been any word on when or if this issue might be resolved?

    I like the FR70's display and flexibility, but if it can't synch, and so far that appears to be the case, it's utility is more than a tad diminished and I need to be looking at returning it for something else.
  • The Sync issue with the FR70 has been identified and should be corrected soon. It is not a functionality issue with Express but a database issue on our side. You will be notified via email once it is corrected.

    While I never received an e-mail or notification, Garmin Express did eventually recognize my FR70 a few days ago and has been synching just fine since then.

    Thought I'd mention it in case there was anyone else with the same problem.

    There was a posting on our internal network on Friday that said the FR70 issue was in the process of being resolved. I work Sunday - Thursday so this is the first chance I've had to message you. Glad your up an running..

    I'm glad it works for someone but I'm still not getting any luck and getting the same message about the FR70 not being compatible.
