Garmin Express recognises Forerunner 301 but will not connect to my account

Garmin Express on Windows 7 and Chrome recognises the Forerunner 301 but then when it asks to connect to existing account and I put in log in details an Error comes up saying there is a problem with servers. This happened ever since I tried to use Garmin Express but today I tried my Edge 800 and that worked perfectly. Any ideas?

    You might also want to look here, although as your Edge works perfectly it's probably not applicable

    Unfortunately I cannot get the 301 to be associated in the first place. It scans and finds the device but the next stage asks me to sync to existing account and after I enter the account login and password it brings up the message "Sorry... the servers are unavailable etc...

    I checked and Garmin core update service is running.

    Any further ideas?

  • Sounds like an account issue that the Express team will need to help on.
  • We are working on a solution for this problem, it has been reported by two other 301 users, from whom we have gathered logs to send to the developers. In the meantime you should be able to upload directly by going to connect.garmin.com

    It's the same for me . Garmin's bug .
