Nuvi 265w won't find satellites after updating from 7.50 to 7.60 with Garmin Express

I tried re-installing 7.60 with the Web Updater but no luck. Also did a hard reset and still nothing. At first glance, updating to 7.60 and US & Canada 2015.10 seemed to go off without a hitch but I need either a fix or the means, if possible, to downgrade back to 7.50 in order to prevent the Garmin update from turning my GPS into a paper weight.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you've done a hard reset leave the 265 outside and stationary with a clear view to the sky. It could take 30 minutes or so to rebuild it's satellite database.

You can see what the device thinks it is doing if you press on the spot where the satellite signal bars are normally displayed and hold it for at least ten seconds. This should bring up a page with the satellites details displayed. Now you can watch what is happening as the device tries to lock in on the satellites.

The hard reset would erase all data anyway. Glad all working now.
