Like many here I cannot upgrade to the Australia map 2015.10 on my brand new 2597.
However that has been only the start of my woes. I took it out for its first run around the local area today, and what a disaster.
Voice (Karen) stops working after first announcement on every trip I plotted in, from there it does one of the following:
Runs the correct route but in dead silence.
Animated car stops after 1-2 minutes, but the street banner at very top shows your current street, or the opposite
The animated car shows correct route, but street banner is stuck way back at 1st or 2nd street in plotted route. Karen silent.
or, the street banner starts to show commands from a completely different route, a previous journey.
To add insult, the discount code did not work when I bought USA maps, installing the USA map is about the only thing that has worked.
I would take in back tomorrow and get another brand, except I have forked out for the USA maps as I have a holiday there in September.
