Switched to Garmin Express was the worst idea

I have a 310TX. What it took me minutes before Garmin Express now took me hours.
I´m tired of trying to do this support.garmin.com/.../case.faces (The "Click Delete Device from Express" doesn´t appear)
It´s absurd to do this everytime support.garmin.com/.../case.faces
Or do this support.garmin.com/.../simpleCase.htm
I´m wasting my time.
It was supposed to express and express garmin is the opposite.
I need help!
  • Please provide the specific error or issue you are encountering with Express. For now, I would suggest the following FAQ for basic troubleshooting:

What troubleshooting options can I try when my fitness device will not upload data?

I turn back to ANT and now non of my workouts are sending to my activities.
Everything is perfect. My ant, my 310TX, The Pairing, just doesn´t upload my workouts.
There´s nothing in that link that can help me. I just want to use it the way i did all this time without a problem.
Can i restored it? Am i gonna lose my data for the workouts it doens´t uploads?
  • I'm sure it would help those trying to help you if you provided some detail about what you're doing and where it fails and error messages if any.

I just turn to express and never work. I couldn´t sincronize my runs. After trying all that i wrote at first i turn back to ANT. Now i can´t uplaod my runs. The only is manual and that´s not the idea.
I checked everyting: ANT, watch, PC, and are fine.
ANT apparently works and sincronize but when i go to my menu there´s no new activities.
I don´t know what else can i tell you, because this is it. :(

I'm sorry for the the troubles. At this point you'll want to uninstall the Garmin ANT Agent then clean up the left over ANT Agent data. Install Express and pair the device with Express again and your uploads should resume.

    1. Delete the contents of the C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devic es\
    1. Press the Windows Key + R key together
    2. Type this exactly, %Appdata%
    3. Click OK
    4. Open the Garmin folder
    5. Open the Devices folder
    6. Delete the numbered folder (unit id of the fitness device)

    2. Delete the contents of the LegacyProxy folder located in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\LegacyProxy folder
    1. Press the Windows Key + R key together
    2. Type this exactly, %Programdata%
    3. Click OK
    4. Open the Garmin folder
    5. Open the LegacyProxy folder
    6. Delete the numbered folder (unit id of the fitness device)

    3. Restart the computer

    4. Pair the device and creating a couple of short 1 min test activities.

If you continue to have troubles I suggest you contact us by phone: http://www.garmin.com/us/support/

Unfortunately, I can not call from Venezuela.
I did what I was told and the only activity that was recorded was the 5 minute test. The others no.
I'm desperate. I really need this for my next half marathon
  • If the activities are on your 310XT but not uploaded to Garmin Connect, you might try to go to the Data Transfer screen on the 310 and tell it to transfer all activities, and then sync using Garmin Express.
  • MAYERLINGO

Only the Master Reset on the 310XT will delete all the data off it. The instructions I provided are to clean up the data on the computer. Once you clean up the old ANT data and pair the device with Express, all the data that is on the watch and not already uploaded to Connect should transfer.

If there are a few activities on the watch that do not get uploaded then it is likely that the data on the watch is corrupt and they should be deleted off the watch manually. A lot of it depends how many activities are on the device that have not uploaded.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
