Garmin Express unable to sync 310XT

Every time I try and sync my watch with Garmin Express the 'sync' button is not 'pressable'. I have to remove my device and then reinstall the device. I can then SYNC. I am unsure if this is an IE setting on my PC that 'forgets' something. But I had the same problem when using the ANT tool. It is infuriating as I have to do this every time I upload data.... any suggestions?
  • If you have been having this problem using Ant Agent software as well as Garmin Express it may be in your best interest to master reset the watch.     Otherwise make sure you are using the current Garmin Express client, click on the Gear Icon to locate that information, and that the unit software is current, 4.50.
