Getting a workout to sync on Garmins software over the yeasr ahs proven more difficult thatn the 9 IM distance triathlons I have done.

I am ready to leave this darn company for Suunto.




Why can't you guys make a dependable application........

    dumb question - but did you try re-pairing the device with your ant+ agent ?
    in any case you've hardly put any details of your device or steps taken to reproduce if u need a good response.

  • Yes, help is available here but only if you can explain exactly what you're doing. You haven't even said what device you have?

    I've used Garmin software for years and rarely had issues.

    I've put loads of details inmy request for help. It doesn't guarantee a response unfortunately. I've used Garmin software for years and also had LOTS of issues - usually after a new version is released (e.g. Garmin Express 3.2.8.0 - released full of bugs last week if you care to do some trend analysis on the forum posts ever since). I've come to think of myself as part of the Garmin Software Test team rather than a customer. I worked as a software developer for 9yrs and in that time would have expected our test team to report and feedback such errors for fixing before distribution of a new release. It's what makes me believe Garmin has no software test team.

    Express worked for the last few weeks (15 - 2- workouts) then yesterday it just stopped connecting to my ant+ and transferring data from the 310xt.

    So I uninstalled everything that was remotely related to garmin and ant+ and did a clean install.

    Now express doesn't even detect I have an ant+ adapter.

    My apologies for being short but when I look at all these threads I see dozens of issues and very few if any resolution to the problems. Seem like a place just to air our grievances to one another and not expect any sort of response from Garmin.

    Personally the fact I have the 310x vs anything shouldn't matter. Express doesn't even get to the point where it see the ant+ adapter.

    I'll be damned.... today it works. after spending 2 hours yesterday with no results. Today it just worked.....
