Downloading from Garmin Connect errors

Garmin Express keeps trying to download activities from Garmin Connect with multiple error messages! What is it trying to download? I just want it to upload my activities? And then I keep getting multiple duplicate .fit feels in the activities folder on my computer (0kb size) and Express is trying to upload multiple duplicate files. Even when I delete all the files on my computer it still keeps trying to upload them. I've been through all the Garmin sub-folders on my computer and I can't find where it is finding files to upload when I have deleted everything!

Anyone else having this problem?
  • Follow these instructions to resolve your issue:

    • Navigate to the following location and delete the folder: C:\ProgramData\Garmin\LegacyProxy\%unit ID%
    • Remove and re-add the device to Express

  • Strange. I've tried that already, and uninstalling and re-installing express (with the 3.2.9.0 update) and I've tried deleting the entire C:\ProgramData\Garmin folder too.
    But this time it worked! Thanks.

    I'll test Garmin Express again tomorrow with a new workout. Hopefully it will keep working!
