Garmin Express wont pair with my 910

I had my 910 paired with Garmin Express on my laptop but for some reason my workout files stopped uploading and I would keep getting an error message saying that my files could not be uploaded at this time.

I decided to uninstall Express and reinstall it. I downloaded the latest version of Express and installed it to my laptop again but when I went to try and pair my 910 it would not pair. It sees the unit and asks me to pair with it but then gives me an error message saying that the pairing cannot be completed.

I now have a 910 that wont even pair with Express.

Anyone else having this problem and have any solutions?

    When I uninstalled Express the 910 was removed from my computer. There are no devices currently associated with Express on my computer.

    I have tried all that without success. My problem is that my computer (Garmin Express) sees the 910 and tries to pair with it but then throws up an error saying that the pairing cannot be completed. Because I am connecting with an Ant+ dongle the 910 does not appear in "My Computer" and because the pairing cannot be completed it is not appearing as a device within Express.

    Before I reinstalled Express it was connecting to my computer no problem but not uploading the files.

  • I am showing that the 910XT was able to sync with connect earlier this morning. Are you still having a problem?

    I had managed to sync my device with another computer that had Communicator installed. This uploaded my data no problem.

    I have since been able to resolve my problem of pairing my device by doing the following:-

    1. Uninstalling Express from my computer
    2. Deleting all of the files associated with Garmin on the 'C' drive
    3. Shutting down the computer overnight
    4. Installing a fresh version of Express
    5. Updating to the most recent version of Express before trying to pair my device
    6. Pairing my device

    By doing the above steps I was able to get my device to pair with my computer again. I don't know if the data files will upload (this was the problem I was having initially and the reason I uninstalled) but at least I have been able to pair the device which is further than I got before.
