With Garmen Express the +Ant Agent was uninstalled. I can no longer import from device to Garmin Training Center. Can I co-install +antAgent and GarminExpress? I have years of history on Garmin Training Center and want to continue to add to it easily. Also new Garmin Connect does not appear to have a way of exporting .gpx file. Lots of functionality lost. :(:(:(
You cannot have both (without some technical wizardry and they cannot both be active at the same time, you would need to disable the background express service in order to run the ant agent). What's worse, is that the latest express for deletes the ant agent if you do have it loaded, and will not install unless you agree to do this. Garmin have obsoleted training centre and so do not care about this any more. I used to update everything into TC until recently but finally gave up, although you could upload manually if you really want to continue. You should be able to export from the new web interface. I just checked and it allows me to export as TCX, GPX or Google Earth. If you are not logged in you cannot export though so this could be your problem I guess.
