F15 and Garmin Express

Just purchased new forerunner 15 and I cannot get it to connect to the garmin express. It connected one time this morning and found my device, but I cannot get it to connect again. any help would be appreciated. been waiting for this watch for a long time :(
Running windows 7 professional 64bit.

    Feeling frustrated! I sold my vivofit to get the F15 because of the issues we had with syncing with vivofit. Now the F15 will only sync my steps but not the work-out. This happened today only so far. I can see the work out on my watch but I tried syncing twice and nothing shows up on garmin express or my phone app. Please let me know what I can try to have this sync properly.
