first let me apologize, I'm french :D and it's very possible that my english sounds terrible, but whatever ...
So what are my problems ?
First, I can't register my GPS, Nuvi 2597 LMT ... on the webpage if I try to register it tells me to use Garmin Express ... but nowhere I can find a way to register my GPS trough G.E. ... I tried to remove my GPS on the Garmin Express app and to connect it another time, but still the same, the Garmin Express ask me an email to register but it never send me an email and never register ... Needless to say, when I go to https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myUnits.htm, it says that there's no unit associated to this account ...
Second, when I try to buy a new map, the Mexico one, it says "check first the compatibility of the map with your GPS" ... okay, fair enough, but how the hell am I supposed to do so ? there's nothing in the Garmin Express, nothing in the website.
So here I am, in Mexico since a couple of weeks, and no way to buy the map,
I feel like I bought an useless piece of plastic, I mean when I was in Europe I traveled trough France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, without a single problem, everything was perfect, and now that I moved to Mexico I can't even buy a dumb map,
So what solution is left to me ? look for a cracked map of Mexico and raise a finger toward this company wich is unable to make an easy way to register a product and buy a new map ? I mean, that's way beyond making it difficult, I feel like it's just IMPOSSIBLE, I spent hours during the last 2 days, delaying a trip in Mexico just because of this. I won't call Garmin France customers service because of time difference and cost of such call. I sent a mail to the customers service but it says that they'll eventually answer me during the next 3 DAYS ?!
I'm getting tired of googling a solution to register and buy new map, I'm just getting frustrated and want to kick my computer, my GPS and whatever else, especially if it's branded Garmin.
So here I am, begging for help from anyone before a nervous breakdown ...
