Garmin Express not running with Foretrex 301

Good evening,

When connecting my foretrex 301 with USB wire, GARMIN express recognizes the FORETREX but is not able to access data.
On the other side, under windows 7 explorer, I'm not able to access to the file current.gpx under garmin directory (the content of the directory is not accessible).
Moreover, despite I have installed garmin drivers, I've seen that the driver used are Microsoft WPD instead of garmin drivers (impossible to change this...)
Note : it's working well under XP computer. Not on my win 7 computer (I have trid with 3 computers)

Thank you in advance
Thierry

The Foretrex is a mass storage device which would use the Windows USBSTOR.sys mass storage device driver. Same Windows driver a USB Flash drive would use. The computer should assign a drive letter to the device when connected. Avoid any external USB Hubs or keyboard USB ports. If one computer will mount the device I suggest you run a Check Disk on it and Safely Remove it when disconnecting. If the device and computers are healthy, there is no need to install any third party or Garmin USB drivers.

Thank you. I have taken time to make some screen copies (sorry...in french), in a way that you can see what drivers are used.
More over, a letter (J:\) is assigned to the foretrex but when I click on it, the screen freezes and explorer is hanging.
