computer will no longer recognize montana 650 or virb elite

I can't get either one to show up in the updater. This is really starting to get annoying.

I am assuming you are talking about Garmin Express? Does the PC still see your device as mass storage devices? Do you have any other Garmin software on your computer and does that software also not recognize the device? Software such as BaseCamp, or WebUpdater.
