Express 3.2.4.0 won't install

Check you're running the latest Windows Installer http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8483 on PCs where it won't install.

I've been trying to install garmin express since 1st June and I've had a whole day trying things and it still won't install,I'm guessing my only option is a new laptop but that's a bit drastic?
My question is... What am I missing out on not using garmin express for my edge 1000,garmin swim and vivofit? Does anyone know if all these garmin products will all function correctly without garmin express? Or will I get problems in the near future.
I've been sending my edge data via Bluetooth with my phone?does bluetooth do the same functions as garmin express?

Well it can't be impossible because many of us have done it. Express (apart from one instance) has worked perfectly for me since its release and I update at least 3 devices every 3 months or so.

Note the latest version is 3.2.7. Perhaps rather than a simple rant you could explain what you've done so we might be able to help? As a starter you might want to try going to the Garmin Express page and when you get the option to save or run the .exe file save it to your PC. Now right click on the exe file and select 'Run as administrator'. Let us know what happens now and if you get an error message what it is.

Most if not all problems are eventually traced to a problem with the users computer. Incidentally if you look at TT forums you'll see folks there have just as many problems, and again most are traced to problems with the users PC.
