Successful update but Map Data is Not Available

Have just updated my Nuvi 2595 to Full Coverage of Europe 2014.40.

Everything seemed ok and installation was successful.

The problem is that when press "Where To" then "Address" to input a post code, I get the message "map data is not available".

I can navigate to favourites and destinations in the history and view the map live.

myMaps on device shows nothing.

Any ideas? :confused:

If nothing is showing in myMaps then the map isn't there. Your best bet is to download the maps again.

It's using the basemap.

Shouldn't be an issue, Express should notify you if there's not enough space. Express is saying maps are up to date as it thinks you've downloaded them. Try deleting your nuvi from Express then reassociating it, see this FAQ:

Having done so try the update again.
