Wifi-connection and Garmin Express (can't install)

Hi,

My name is Tom, I live in Belgium.

Got my Edge 1000 since yesterday. Everything works fine, except for one thing : I can't install Garmin Express on my laptop (Windows 7). Halfway downloading I get an error. Tried several times, every time the same error message :-(.

Since I can't install Garmin Express I'm also unable to set my wifi-settings and thus unable to pair my Edge 1000 to my iPhone :-(

Any suggestions or solutions to install GE or another way to connect my 1000 to my iPhone or vice versa ?

Thank you !
  • You don't connect to your phone with wifi - it's bluetooth.

Garmin Express runs on top of the Microsoft .NET Framework. If .NET is not up to date then Garmin Express will initiate an update during the installation. If the .NET update fails for any reason the Garmin Express install will fail. Verify you are installing Express under an Administrator account on your computer and see the FAQ: What should I do if I encounter a Microsoft .NET Framework error while installing or using a Garmin application?
