Problems updating to CN NA 2015.10

Have a Zumo 550 went to update from 2014.40 to 2015.10 and Garmin Express (mewest version (3.2.4.0)
Constantly gives an ERROR when trying to update to GPS and,or pc.

Called support and found that there is a problem - just downloaded 3.2.4.0 and STILL ERROR,

Now I have NO MAP in my Zumo other than the basemap.

HELP!!!!!
  • In that case you'll need to wait until its resolved.
  • Issues seem to be limited to not downloading to PC and deleting DEM map. If you have no maps at all try the download again.

    Of course if you have a back up just restore that.
  • That's the basemap so the download hasn't worked. Try the download again.

    As for restore I meant if you've ever backed up your GPS?

    They got it fixed now there is the .msi file and it loads to Program Data/Garmin/maps

    Has the "DEM map being removed" error been fixed?
  • AFAIK yes, I've seen posts from others saying it now has.

    Product key issues for those still struggling with this update

    The problem is also that the server does not recognize legitimate product keys (i have a zumo 550). This is the message I get after repeated failures (as early as this morning on express) i revert to mapupdater and I am told my key is invalid for my lifetime map subscritpiton. I send garmin an email, they send me a note saying its fixed. Four times now, over a week, I've received a note from Garmin saying it fixed. This is painful and for garmin, extremely bad. But it really sucks and there seems to be no competent support from Garmin.
  • What shows when you log into myGarmin and look at the myMaps tab? Are you using the product key from there?

    I have a Garmin nuvi 1450 LMT. Today I tried updating the maps to 2015.10 and each time I get "error downloading" message. I have updated my Garmin Express, disabled virus and firewall software to no avail. GARMIN - COME ON.
  • What makes you think it's a Garmin problem? Others are able to download 2015.10.

    Could you explain exactly what you're doing and when you get the error?

    What OS are you using?
