Zumo 590LM "Problem communicating with Garmin servers"

Hi,

Received my Zumo 590LM today and followed on screen and quick start instructions. Installed Garmin Express pc version and have the web plugin installed also. It recognizes device but consistently states "There was a problem communicating with the Garmin servers. Please try again later" I've been trying again 'later' all day!

My device shows up on my account via my web browser, I click on it to register and it takes me to the Garmin Express download page. Am going round in circles here, is there an issue I'm not aware of?

    Hi Curt,

    Thanks for replying. I've tried both suggestions with regards to the FAQ, service is up and running and firewall not blocking Garmin Express. It just doesn't connect using my pc, running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I used my partner's Mac and it worked fine. Product registered. Just strange it doesn't connect via my pc.
