I use several devices with Express. I recently got an FR70, and I can upload my exercise data, but get a cannot synch message for downloading from Connect to the FR70. It says it cannot download Device Setting, Heart Rate, Personal Info, Sport, and Sports. It's not really necessary, but it hangs the synch, and I have to try a couple of times to get things working. Nearly the same issue here! As such I cannot use the %hr and some other fields to show on the FR70. GE seems to be working fine. But when I try to send heart rate zones/setteings to my FR70, only the FR60 I also own is listed as the option to send the data to.
As a workaround I installed ANT+ Agent again and stopped GE for a while. Paired. Used the 'old' Garmin Connect to get personal data to the FR70. Over there, both the FR60 and FR70 were listed.
I am sorry that you are having trouble with Garmin Connect. Unfortunately, the FR60 and FR70 are not compatible with sending device/user settings to the watch in Modern Connect. You most likely paired your FR60 before we removed the option but if you were to try to send settings to the device, it would not be successful. You will need to use Classic Connect or set this up on the watch directly.
