Unable to send workouts to device

From Garmin Connect, I have loaded a training plan into my calendar. I am now trying to export these workouts to my 910xt.

I get a dialogue box saying "## workouts will be sent to your device" and then click on "SEND". Then a second dialogue saying "Previously your device talked to Garmin Connect or your computer using the Garmin Communicator PluginTm or the Garmin ANT AgentTm. Both have been replaced by the new Garmin ExpressTm program."

I choose the option "Start using Garmin Express" where I am re-routed to Garmin 'Get Started" web page with download options.

I have downloaded Garmin Express and synced my device with it, however I still get the same messages in Garmin Connect.

    Have noticed on connect that it says i have no devices associated with my account.
  • Have you connected Garmin Express to your Garmin Connect account?

    Click on the 'Device' in Garmin Express, then 'Garmin Connect Account' and check.

    Also try deleting device from Express then adding it again.

    I do have the same issue. I am using a forerunner 910XT. First the device needs to resync all my data on the device for like 15minutes. Now I want to download a workout to my device and it seems not (yet) to be possible. Hope they will fix soon this kind of software bugs.
  • Have exactly the same issue. My device (forerunner 910XT) is showing in Garmin Express and I'm able to upload data from it to Garmin connect. Just can't send the workouts. Is there a update to fix this yet?
  • I would suggest the following FAQ to resolve the issue after you sign out of your Connect account:
    How do I clear my browser's history, cache, and temporary internet files?

    Sign back into your account once you have cleared all the browser data to upload the data to your device.

    I have a PC running win 7 and chrome.
    I've done what Garmin Express Customer Care wrote and it did not help.
    when I hit "send to device" I get window with a nice message "Previously your device talked to Garmin Connect or your computer using the Garmin Communicator Plugin™ or the Garmin ANT Agent™. Both have been replaced by the new Garmin Express™ program." and a button "start using garmin express" when I press this button I'm redirected to a web page requesting me to download GE. Needless to say I have GE installed.
    The funny thing is that this morning I did a liitle ride on my bike and the ride data reached Garmin connect through GE.

    What can I do?

  • I have the same problem. I have a 310XT. My garmin express is up to date. I am trying to send a course to my watch but get the same error message. Also on my connect profit I get this You have no device on Garmin Connect. While when I go to my garmin express, my watch is there.

    Looks like the Garmin Express is only working one way. It can transfer data but not receiving it. I want this to be resolved as soon as I need that course for this weekend.

    Please HELP.
  • I was having the same problem and just finally got it to work by going to the device tab on express and going down to the account section. I then clicked the change account button and logged back in and there my device was. Silly but it seems to have worked. I was able to change heart rate settings which I had been getting the same message mentioned above when I tried before. Good luck, hopefully it will work.
