Garmin Nuvi 2545

Hello. I don't post often.. I consider myself technical (PC & server support 1988 - present), however....

Both Garmin express (which won't upgrade to 3.1.8, from 3.1.7) and garminmapupdater.exe won't upgrade my maps.

Is there a manual download for 3.1.8 Garmin express please?

What's the best way to ensure i can get the updates to the nuvi? (It thinks i have the latest versions, but hasn't installed them, when i check with garmin express). When i check on the nuvi, the version is still listed (for the maps) as 2013.xx and not 2014.40.

Suggestions please?

Try uninstalling and then reinstall Express from here http://software.garmin.com/en-GB/express.html, then if necessaru update it.

What error message are you seeing when the update from 3.1.7 to 3.1.8 fails? We can also collect the log files that Express has generated on your computer which might give us more information as to what is happening behind the scenes. I have sent you the instructions to collect the logs via Private Message.
