New GC keeps telling me theres an update for my FR 610. Time Zone Map, Version 14.00.
I've updated the FR like 5 times now, also erased it from GC. But when I open GC, it pops up again.
Is it just me that have this problem???
May not be that easy as could be a device rather then Express issue. Either way Garmin say they're aware of it so folks just need to be patient. In the scheme of things I suspect it's not a high priority.
This issue is still in the works and it has not been forgotten. The device will most likely need a new firmware update and the Forerunner 610 team is working on it. I do not have further information on this but I thought I would chime in one more time to let you know it is still being looked at.
Time Zone map contains information on the different time zones and allows the device to make time zone adjustments based on GPS coordinates. You'll want to do the Time Zone Update if available. Note that for the Forerunner 610 the Time Zone update does not go away after it is complete. Simply ignore future update notices. The Garmin Express team is aware of this and it should be corrected in a future version but it is a low priority.
