New GC keeps telling me theres an update for my FR 610. Time Zone Map, Version 14.00.
I've updated the FR like 5 times now, also erased it from GC. But when I open GC, it pops up again.
Is it just me that have this problem???
Today, still got the Time Zone Map Version 14.00 on Garmin Express for my Edge 500. I now ignore it after seeing it for several weeks. Trying to do the update adds extra time since we have I have to take time to click on some terms and conditions agreement. I did do a initial setup thinking that might allow a map update - but that didn't help.
Same issue and glad to see that Customer Care is on it. For now, just ignore it and don't waste time trying to download it. Functionality is not impaired in any way without it. Regardless, it would be nice to see this resolved soon, since it has been noted and reported for over two months now.
What does time zone map v14 add as functionality to the FR610? Rather than getting frustrated with the fact mine wouldn't update, I simply removed the update from the list of items waiting to sync.
This thread was started end of April. Now it's 18-07-2014.
What's so difficult about fixing this bug? I would assume that Express checkes everytime you initiate it what updates are available on the server. The "we will fix it soon"-team should just remove it from the list until they have a final solution.
