Garmin Express for F2 using Windows XP

I undertstand Windows XP is on its last leg, but Garmin Express installed, and seems to understand that an F2 is connected, but it never connects to the servers and says to try again later. the only way I had to update the F2 firmware was through the Web-Updater.

Am I alone in my Garmin Express - non functioning for F2 on XP?

I'm using Garmin Express with a Fenix 2 on a Windows XP PC. On startup it gives a warning message that says that Garmin Express support for XP will "soon" be discontinued, but for now it still works okay. This is ver 3.1.7.0.

And were you successful in getting the connection to garmin connect to work? I should have been more specific. Express started but I could not establish connection to GC.
