Can't access Garmin Connect through Garmin Express

I've used the Garmin communicator for years to upload activities to Connect. I installed Garmin Express thinking the new system might be better. However, after the sync is completed with my device and I try to go to Connect through Express, I get a error that the page can not be accessed. I tried with Firefox and Explorer with cookies allowed. Is there a problem with Express?

Also, I understand that there is supposed to be a update to the Connect site but all I see is the old site. How do I get to the new site?
