Garmin Express instalation fail

Hello,

I bought navigation GARMIN dezl 760 LMT. I tried to instal "Garmin Express" but every time (on 2 PCs) it says "Program stoped working" (or somethink like that i have it in czech language so i don't know what it say in englis i just tried to translate). Both PC are Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit (just for sure they are legal not cracked). I also tried "Run as administrator" with same results. Can anyone help me?

Difficult to help without knowing what the error message was, but check your firewall and/or anti-virus program isn't blocking the download. Did you just select run or did you download the .exe file to your PC first?

You right clicked the .exe file and selected Run as Administrator, correct?

Does your PC meet the minimum requirements?

Where does it fail? Do you get to the splash screen that says Install?

So the .exe program isn't even launching? Have you tried redownloading in case it's corrupted?

good morning. i try to launch garmin express on my pc and i get a message GARMIN EXPRESS HAS STOPPED WORKING. I try to uninstall it through my control panel and when i click uninstall... i get the same message. pls help

Cannot get Garmin Express to Install

I have downloaded & tried multiple times and cannot get it to install.It goes to the "Initializing" screen for a few minutes, then says "Failed. Try Again?" I've done everything I can think of...anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried right clicking the .exe installation file and selecting 'Run as administrator'?

Do you have Dotnet Framework version 4.0 installed and fully patched? GExpress setup downloads and installs it (or tries to) silently as part of the installation. Would be good if it actually said what it was doing (because those on slow connections will simply think it's crashed when in reality it's downloading a big slug of Dotnet Framework to install)

Good point. As posted in post #11 it's worth downloading that manually if running as administrator doesn't work.

I am not getting the DotNet Framework error message, but even running as an admin doesn't work. Any other suggestions?
