I'm unable to sync with GarminConnect after Express Install

I've installed Garmin Express and it has recognized my devices:


GE then asks me to sync with Garmin Connect. I have an account so I choose "I want to sync with an existing account"


Whether I choose to connect with an existing account or start a new account I get the same screen - a popup box that's empty:


Now, if I move the cursor over the empty box I can "see" popup boxes saying "sign in with facebook" etc.s

I have Windows 8 on a 6 month old laptop. I had uninstalled Ant Agent.

Any ideas how to deal with this? Until then I'll have to uninstall this and reinstall ANT Agent.

    The few reports of that issue have involved the user changing the appearance of windows colors or using a one of the High Contrast Themes. Check your Appearance and Personalization Theme and change it to one of the Windows Default Themes if needed.

    1. Right Click on the Desktop Background
    2. Click Personalize

    I have just uploaded Garmin Express and have the same problem as above. Changing back to the default windows desktop makes no difference and I still get a white blank screen after I say I want to use my existing Garmin Connect account. Any more suggestions?

    I have the same problem as above, have also changed to Windows Default Theme, makes no difference.
    I have a Garmin 210 connect with a USB cable - never had any issues before this new release
