Garmin Express sync blank screen

I have installed Garmin Express on a Windows 7 machine. It finds my device then I get the Sync with Garmin Connect. I click the I want to sync to an existing account. The popup screen shows but it is blank and I have no way of logging in? Any suggestions please?
  • Have the same problem, can see it if I click your link in Chrome and IE 10. If I change the contrast setting I can see the login fields but they do not allow me to type in them. I must say I am very disappointed in Garmin. Many of your updates cause new problems and this one appears to be no different. Guess I will use Strava because it works.

  • When I changed the Contrast fields, I could see the input fields.
    When I typed in them, it did NOT display the characters, nor acknowledge my click on the signin button, but it DID sign me in and connect me to my existing account!

    Not a good first experience with Garmin Express, but maybe I'm past the hurdles
  • Can't login, regardless of the high contrast hack. Rendering the application worthless. On Windows 8.

    Hope the old browser plugin continues to work while developers remedy the FIRST step of Express application.

    I also have the blank "sync with existing account" dialog box problem. Win 7, IE 9. I can see the widget. None of the proposed fixes make any difference.

    I have the same blank screen. My PC sees the device, it's drive E. I can open it and read data in the XML file. I set up a Garmin Connect account separately, and downloaded the separate communication SW. I can see the widget: Win 7 and Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116. I can also see the widget with IE 10.0.9200.16844.
  • I am having the same problem about the blank screen, even though with SHEVALA's tip I can now see the fields to type in the username and password, they appear grayed out so I cannot type/click... in other words, it is worthless...
  • And just after I typed the post above, I tried typing in the username and password in the grayed out field, hit enter, and it finally logged in... still kinda sucks that it has to be that tricky to make it work...

    I tried several different contrast settings today, but I still can't see anything in the blank white box. I installed Garmin Express on my old laptop, but ran into exactly the same issue. If this is hardware related, I have an HP EliteBook 8570W with an NVIDIA Quadro K2000M graphics card. The old laptop is an HP 8530W with NVIDIA FX 770M. Could this be NVIDIA card related?

    I e-mailed Garmin with this problem. The response was to log in to Garmin Connect directly and upload data. No advice on how to fix the blank screen... Here's how to get data into your Garmin Connect account without Garmin Express:

    1. Connect your Edge 500 to the computer
    2. Sign into Garmin Connect using this web address: http://connect.garmin.com/en-US/signin
    3. Select "Upload" in the upper right corner
    4. Your device might be found or you may be prompted to download and install the Garmin Communicator Plug in
    5. If the Plug in is required please download and install it
    6. Once your device is found select "Upload all new Activities"

    This method worked perfectly for me.
