Garmin Express Automatically Changes Account

Hi Guys,

I ended up being locked out of my original account when I changed my email address and forgot my password. I then set up a new account.

I synced to my new account but Garmin Express keeps reverting to my original account. I remove device and re-pair it with the new account, however, when I relaunch Express it keeps reverting.

Also, when I change account in Garmin Express (Device > Change Account) by logging in with my new account details - it doesn't change. Looks like a bug? What do you all think?

    Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the application?

    Yes - latest version running and have re-installed too! v4.5
  • Were you previously using the ANT Agent? You might try to rename the Garmin folder that was used by the ANT Agent as Garmin Express seems to use the data there in some cases. This post tells you where to find it. I'd just find the folder named GARMIN and rename it to GARMIN.BAK to eliminate this as a potential influence. I'd uninstall Garmin Express, then I'd rename the GARMIN folder it uses. This post tells you where to find that folder. Again, I'd rename the folder named GARMIN to GARMIN.BAK.

    Once you've done that, go ahead and re-install Garmin Express, and pair it to your device again.
