Just got a brand new FR10 for my wife.
Plugged it into the win7 laptop with new GE 3.1.6.
Got a notification that there are " Updates 3"
I hit install , accept...and got " Not enough room for updates.. please delete old activities"
Its a new watch and has none.
What had happend is that GE loaded FW 2.90 and the Timezone update at the same time. This left no room to decompress/install either of the 127k or 500k updates.
I removed the timezone update and undocked the watch.... " Installing update"
Reconnected to the pc for it to load the timezone update...
kept this up until i got no more notifications...
Garmin , you need to manage the downloads to ONE at a time in these devices with small memories.
