Cannot delete 910xt from Garmin Express

I have given my wife my 910XT after buying an Edge 810.
Now I want to delete the 910XT from GE. When deleting from GE it disappears, But after restarting the program or rebooting the PC, the 910XT shows up again.
I have removed it from My Garmin.
When deleting, I choose "Delete from Garmin Connect.
I have noticed this in GE 3.0.9 and 3.0.12

Have you experienced the same problem? And do you have a solution?

  • If you have the FR 910XT paired with the Ant Agent then Express is automatically migrating the ANT Device back into Express after you delete it. If you still use the ANT Agent to transfer data to Garmin Connect then you will not be able to permanently delete the FR 910XT from Express for now.

    If you do not use the FR 910XT on this computer any longer simply uninstalling the ANT Agent software will remove the files being migrated in to Express. Delete it after uninstalling ANT Agent and it should be gone for good.

    Thank you for replying.

    I have uninstalled the ANT Agent the day Garmin Express was installed. I now have the Garmin PlugIn and Express installed.

    Where do I find the files or registry entries to delete?

  • You can remove the ANT Agent's folder for the 910 from C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices. Delete all folders from inside the Devices folder then delete\add the 910XT again in Garmin Express.
