Gamrin express doe snot recognize FR50 "specified unit ID is invalid"

I have just receive a FR220, very happy with it.

installed Garmin Express, it asks to stop ANT agent, and recognize the FR220, easy enough.
However, I cannot get express to recognize and manage the FR50, comes up with "Device ID invalid". (was already paired, and is in TXpair ON).

so basically I have to switch with ANT agent for FR50 and express for FR220....
any idea how to get it working and get rid of antagent altogether?

    I have the same issue with my fr70. I contacted support a few months ago, when GE 3.0.60.0 was released and their advice was to hold on until further updates and in the interim use ant+ agent. I'm now using GE 3.2.40.0 and still no luck syncing.

    Looks to me as if GE will never sync and the FR range has become redundant. Could be a ploy to force everyone to upgrade to a new watch...................

    They just added the 310XT/405 - those are pretty ancient... The other forerunners will come in time I'm sure (although this is pure supposition on my part based on previous performance and not a guarantee that Garmin will do it on any particular timescale)
