Firmware for Garmin Edge 1000. WebUpdater no longer works. Where can I find firmware?

I own three Edge 1000 head units. I have one which is stuck at "loading profiles". I did all of the normal file cleaning and reset operations. It's still stuck. I'd like to flash the firmware clean but cannot find the file nor does WebUpdater work anymore. Garmin Express does not give me an option to reinstall firmware.

Hello arkosarkos Garmin Express is the current software you would use for checking for updates, and installing the latest software. You are correct, this will not prompt you to reinstall the existing software. 
 You mentioned that you have already tried file cleaning and reset. Just to be sure, I would recommend trying a factory reset with these steps: https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/edge1000/EN-US/GUID-D7DDA5C1-CBCB-4131-A4C4-B4200A371DB0.html 
 You can also try these steps:

Turn device off (may require pressing and holding the power button until the screen powers off).

Hold Lap/Reset and Start/Stop.

Press and release the power button.

Continue to hold only Lap/Reset and Start/Stop.

Release Lap/Reset and Start/Stop when the Garmin Logo is cleared.
