Garmi express install apps

Why I can't install apps on my watch from IQ store just using Garmin express? They demand to install the android app on my phone device

Based on my research, it appears that Garmin made the decision to require the use of the IQ Store app rather than add app-installation capabilities to Garmin Express. This is not illogical if the watch has wireless connection capability to an android phone. Cardo, the headset manufacturer, has done this too. You can update the firmware using software on a PC but can only manage settings with their iPhone or Android app.

It is completely illogical! I don't want to install any app in my phone, just to use my windows app. Because they pay and build android and ios apps, doesn't mean I have to comply

I agree Garmin was stupid for taking this away. It was much easier to install apps from Garmin Express. Now they're forcing us to use their stupid phone app to install anything.
