I connected my Forerunner 970 with Express for the first time to install map updates. At first it was showing progress, but now it has been stuck on this screen for over 45 minutes with no indication if the process is hung or if it is still doing something. I'm looking at task manager and the only activity I can see is an occasional 0.1% CPU usage - 0% Disk and 0% Network. I'm thinking the process is hung but there's no way to be sure. There should be some indicator of actual activity. Just saying "15 minutes remaining" when clearly, since it has already taken 45+ minutes is not helpful. This number has not changed for 45 minutes.
I just checked the about screen to see what version I'm using (it updated before I tried updating the map, so it should be the most recent version) - this version number also looks like a bug since it includes a hexadecimal string "e0f66065" at the end:
