Hello, I’m having persistent issues updating the Cyclops Safety Cameras Europe database on my nüvi 2799 using Garmin Express. The download completes successfully. But during Step 2 (writing to the device), Garmin Express always fails with an error: “An error occurred while installing the update.” What I’ve tried so far: Removed old CyclopsSample.gpi files from the POI folder on the device. Reinstalled Garmin Express and cleared the cache (C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Downloads). Tried different USB cables and ports. Even attempted manual install by copying the safetycam.gpi from the Express cache to the \Garmin\POI\ folder ️ Is this a known issue with the Cyclops updates on nüvi devices? ️ Will there be a fix for Garmin Express to properly write these files again? Hello,

I’m having persistent issues updating the Cyclops Safety Cameras Europe database on my nüvi 2799 using Garmin Express.

The download completes successfully.
But during Step 2 (writing to the device), Garmin Express always fails with an error:
“An error occurred while installing the update.”

What I’ve tried so far:

Removed old CyclopsSample.gpi files from the POI folder on the device.
