After a 12 gb map update of my touring bought used I was astonished about the fact that there is no map to be seen. I mean, there is the arrow in the middle of the screen, which doesn't move with changing direction. But sats were found. What is the reason for that.?

AFAIK the Edge Touring had maps for one specific region only (depending on where it was bought originally). So if you're outside that region, then no maps for you.

Thank you, but it is Germany based, and I live here at the north sea coast. But I made a discovery: it is necessary choosing a map from the downloaded catalogue, but don't ask me where I found it. You will know what I mean. Nevertheless, it's working, but compressed on that tiny screen, I do need good glasses discovering anything. On my bike, a hazard intend.
