For the last few years I have experienced Garmin hades. I unfortunately have 3 devices (1 my wife's) and all have constant issues with
Garmin Express. Plugged in. Charging through the port. Yet NOTHING happens. Sometimes after plugging unplugging restarting both my PC and the devices, the thing works. But every time I have bound for pain. I feel this board exists to appease angry users as Garmin Support usually replies things that are not useful and then Garmin fixes no issues - which persist for years. Even decades. It makes great hardware but garbage software - especially integrations between its devices and other things.
Yes I use the original cable. Yes I have all latest versions of Garmin Express and my device OS. Yes it should bloody work. I'm sure I've raised this before. I've also tried to 'talk' to support in my local country. Sad. Those guys are trained in anything BUT Garmin products. In summation - a miserable failure at the cost of consumers/
