Just to have a last advice before have to contact support: I've recieved on June '25 a RMA watch Fenix 6 Pro Solar edition cause my old watch gave me problems.
this new one has worked fine untill end July: now It works fine with iOS but unable to connect it to Windows or Mac.
The error is always that the devices is not recognized: The device reported a problem and was shut down. (Code 43) Failed to request the USB device descriptor.
Since now I've already tried:
- 3 cables with one "brand new" from another garmin watch box
- 2 differents PC with Win11, latest updates, different restarts and latest Garmin Express version
- 1 Mac latest version with a "brand new" installation with latest Garmin Express version
- cleaned the contact on Watch
- performed a master reset on watch
- tried some "soft reset" hits found on this forum
- tried to change usb from MTP to Garmin (and back)
Nothing worked for me. It seems that the USB port is stuck on some strange status.
Anyone has same problem?
