GE 7.25.0 running on Windows 11. When I connected my Edge 1050 to my PC today, GE informed me that there was a basemap update available. I let it install (no errors indicated), after which it again said that a basemap update was available. When I looked at the contents of the folder mtp://Edge 1050/Internal Storage/Garmin/Maps, I could see that the updated basemap was already there - dated 30/6/2025.
Only after I unplugged the 1050, let it boot up, and then re-connected it did GE see the updated map it had already installed...
