Garmin Express keeps updating Edge1030 Map 2025.10.

It installs successfully, but every time I sync Garmin Express it says I have a new map to install (but it's always Map 2025.10).

Each installation takes about an hour at 3-4 Mbps (despite having ~70Mbps download speed with fibre broadand).

Garmin Express is up-to-date (version 7.25.0+a13e85b4)

How do I stop this, please?

Mine says the same thing - don't click INSTALL, the device will still sync correctly.

Hi,
Same for me with my Edge 1000.
Garmin France support doesn't have and isn't looking for a solution. 
They're asking us to wait for the next map release.
If we need anything, we can always call them.

I updated my edge 1030 with TOPO ACTIVE EUROPE 2025.10 (11GB) by garmin express 7.25+a , after a) garmin express asked me to update with same map contents any time i asked for sync ....and b) in edge 1030 navigation menu if i tried to search for a city or poi (city serach o poi search..) edge shut down ...... . I did an hard reset (that delete all data...) and asked for a new map update topo active europe 2025.10 by sync....without any result , again edge shut down when i tried to search a city in navigation menu . we need this feature for our cycle trip
