When following the link provided, you get a message "The content you are viewing does not apply to this device. Visit the help page for your device to see related content."

This link is more applicable for the Foreunner 945: support.garmin.com/.../

Well it is applicable, you just click on the link that takes you to the help page for your device. Your link is about Connect not Express.
