Nuvi 1340 says no map data available

Customer services told me to buy and insert a 32GB Micro Sim but that hasn't helped. They just want me to buy a new product! Any suggestions as to what I can do to recover my maps?

What map are you trying to install? What shows in Tools, Settings, Map, Map info?

Without Express being open, can you “see” the card with Windows Explorer?

Hi! When I follow that sequence I just get a blank screen. According to Garmin Express I have Western Europe 2025.10 installed!

I can see my Garmin (D:) 315 MB free of 3.62 GB and the Micro SD card Drive (E:) 25.9 GB free of 29.7 GB

If you're getting a blank screen then something is wrong, try a master reset and see then if a map shows in MapInfo?

Hi!

Thanks for your help! I tried that but still I cannot load any maps. According to Mapinstall Western Europe is installed but is locked. Can you help me further or should I give up now! I could send it to you for you to play with as I'm in no hurry?

You shouldn't use MapInstall, that only installs maps to your device that are already installed to your PC. Run Express and see what that says. It should recognise your device and confirm what updates are available. Don't insert the sd card unless/until Express asks for it
