Ich schreibe in Deutsch!
Nachdem ich vor zwei Wochen hier die Probleme beim Kartenupdate beschrieb - und leider keine brauchbare Hilfe bekommen habe - wollte ich soeben eine neue Route ins Navü eingeben. Es klappt plötzlich gar nicht mehr - also wurde die installierte Software überspielt.
Bei neuer Routenplanung hat als Erstes das "Land" eingetippt zu werden - aber sowohl Deutschland als auch Germany existiert in der langen Liste (aller möglichen EU-Länder) gar nicht.
Eine frühere Route benutzen und einfach das Ziel überschreiben - geht auch nicht.
Über die Apps gelang mir alternativ wenigstens die Eingabe eines Ortes - und Navü kommentierte artig "Kleinstadt in Sachsen" - aber das wars auch schon.
Keine Möglichkeit zur Eingabe einer Straße dort und keine Möglichkeit der Routenplanung "von zu Hause" zu einem "Ziel".
Garmin verlangt also tatsächlich den Kauf eines völlig neuen Gerätes und --------- die sind gar nicht mehr (wie mein vorhandenes Navü es ist!) mit "kostenlosem lebenslangem Update" versehen - es sei denn, man zahlt 100€ mehr oder schließt einen separaten Vertrag zum neuen Gerät ab. Wie unverschämt ist DAS denn?! Schämt Euch!
Mal sehen, wie die Konkurrenz drauf ist.

After I described the problems with the map update here two weeks ago - and unfortunately didn't get any useful help - I just wanted to enter a new route into the navü. It suddenly doesn't work at all anymore - so the installed software was overplayed.
When planning a new route, the first thing to do is to type in the "country" - but both Germany and Germany do not exist in the long list (of all possible EU countries).
Using an earlier route and simply overwriting the destination - doesn't work either.
Alternatively, I was able to enter a location via the apps - and Navü politely commented "small town in Saxony" - but that was it.
No possibility to enter a road there and no possibility of route planning "from home" to a "destination".
So Garmin actually requires the purchase of a completely new device and --------- they are no longer provided with a "free lifetime update" (as my existing Navü is!) - unless you pay 100€ more or sign a separate contract for the new device. How outrageous is THAT?! Shame on you!
