Why are the Map downloads so slow?

I experience that map downloads are very slow (4-6 MB/s).
I have a fiber 1000/1000 MB/s internet connection.
But only downloading with 4-6 MB/s?!
Is it Garmin's servers that need to be updated from 56K modem to 2025 standard?

Nope, most of us download maps without issue, the CN EU map takes me less than 30 minutes to update device and computer. More likely you have an issue within your overall system, including possibly your ISP throttling the download.

I have no problems with downloading from anyware else but Garmin.

I've bin using Garmin in 20+ years And it has always bin an isue, with all of my Garmin producs.

...And im not alone, as I can read!

I have not seen Garmin try help, in this forum And if you contact support, you only get basic support.

Well that's all you can do. My experience over the years is that slow downloads are almost universally due to an issue at the user end, occasionally it's an issue with the user account that only contacting Garmin can resolve.
